Light Warm
How do i keep my tortoise warm without a light?
Hes only a little baby.
Hes currently buried himself in some grass i put in his cage. Im worried, so ive put a 20w office light above him (while hes under the grass).
How can i keep him warm overnight?
He should be fine for one night, but tomorrow you need to get him a n Under Tank Heater and a basking light with a special heat bulb. A regular office light won’t provide enough heat..it also won’t provide any UVA/UVB rays which are essential for reptiles. You will also need a thermometer to put in the tank to monitor the temps.
