When White Smoke Comes Out the Tail Pipe
Smoke from the tail pipe can determine the condition of your car. When white smoke comes out the tail pipe it indicates two reasons depending on the engine temperature. Smoke can comes out the tail pipe when the engine has just warmed up or at any engine temperature.
If the white smoke comes out just before the engine has warmed up then there is nothing wrong with your car. Yes, it’s normal. This happens because of the condensation that has formed inside the engine when the car has been park overnight start to steam off.
However when the white smoke from the exhaust of your car has been encountered even when the engine is hot or even warm then it’s not normal. This kind of problem is because of water that enters the engine cylinder, this water will then burn and become steam and this steam is the white smoke that you can see that comes out the tail pipe. Now, the problem here is that how the water did get into the engine cylinder. Well, the reason is that the gasket that prevents the water jacket from entering the engine was cracked or damaged.
Since the gasket is damage, the best thing to do is to replace the damage gasket, have the gasket replace by an experience mechanic. This will fix the problem of white smoke that comes out the tail pipe. As for the condensation of the engine there is nothing to do since its normal for the engine to have condensation overnight.
